Project Description
We began working with the Jewish Publication Society to help them solve some serious search engine optimization (SEO) problems that had developed after poor rebuild of their site and many years of SEO neglect.
We implemented a large number of changes to the site architecture, url configurations, and other elements to dramatically improve their site profile and search performance. We also implemented hundreds and hundreds of 301 redirects to fix mishandled pages that were orphaned during the transition from 2 old sites to their current site.
In addition, we have implemented a number of changes to the design with other improvements planned for the coming year. JPS.org is built in WordPress using a customized version of the Appply theme.
